Belgian U23 rider Liam Slock is set to make his debut in the WorldTour team as he transitions from the Lotto Soudal Development Team next season. The 21-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the team, which will be named Lotto Dstny from then on. Despite currently recovering from Lyme disease, Slock is looking forward to his pro debut. He believes that having the certainty of turning pro next year will provide him with the necessary time and mental rest to fully recover. Slock remains focused on achieving good results in the U23 category this season and aims to be in top shape for the start of next season.

With his promotion, Slock becomes the eleventh rider to make the transition from the Lotto Soudal Development Team to the pro ranks.
