“Unfortunately, it wasn’t the result we’d hoped for. We lost Luca Mozzato to a puncture halfway through the race, and he was never able to come back. On recovery from the Giro, Jenthe Biermans showed his mettle, as always, but was knocked out of a potential top 10 with 7 kilometers to go, also with a puncture. That’s part of the game in these races, it’s just bad luck. It doesn’t reflect the level of the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team today. I hope we’ll show our true colours next week for those of you who will be at the Tour of Belgium.”
