Kévin Vauquelin Secures First Podium Finish of the Season

The cycling world saw Kévin Vauquelin clinch his first podium finish of the season, expressing his strategic insights and aspirations for future races. Reflecting on his performance, Vauquelin shared, “I wanted to play. I tried, but in the end it didn’t work. I didn’t see them in my sights until the very end of the race. When I heard there were 20 seconds to spare, I thought I could do it, and then it was off again. I knew the finish almost by heart, I’d recognized it. Maybe it was a bit of a shame to have waited, but at least it proves that the legs are there. It’s good to be able to go for victory straight away, to know where we stand and what we still have to work on. The feeling is good. Next time, we’ll have to do better tactically.”
