Kévin Vauquelin 10th overall
“This final stage of Tirreno-Adriatico was very fast, and we rode very hard all day. With such a scenario, a sprint finish is always very complicated, plus the final circuit was urban. So I had to be out in front. Clément Venturini put me back two kilometers. Thanks to him. At the kilometer mark, I was in Jonathan Milan’s wheel, but I lost it and got locked in a bit. I was too far back to be on the podium, but I finished in 6th place and found the opening to come back up. Sprinting is like that, no two are alike”.
