Reflecting on the race, Niewiadoma shared her thoughts on the dynamic nature of the event, stating, “It was very slow for the first 50-60km and then everything turned insane. Lots of attacks shredded the peloton to a group of around 8-10 riders.” Despite facing challenges like teammate Elise’s unfortunate crash, Niewiadoma stayed focused and gave her best effort throughout the race.
While acknowledging areas for improvement in team strategy and positioning, Niewiadoma remained optimistic, emphasizing the importance of learning from tough race days. She noted, “It’s not a race day we can be proud of. Sometimes, you need that to find extra strength for what is coming next.”
