Jumbo-Visma’s Milan Vader finishes fourth in first stage of Tour of Slovakia
Jumbo-Visma rider Milan Vader narrowly missed out on a podium finish in the first stage of the Tour of Slovakia. The challenging stage saw Vader break away from the peloton and create a significant gap with a group of riders. Despite his efforts, Vader was unable to secure a place on the podium. Sports director Robert Wagner praised Vader’s performance and highlighted the team’s focus on gaining experience in the mixed WorldTour and development squad. Wagner also acknowledged the significant differences in the general classification due to the challenging nature of the stage.
