IPT places its bets on Fuglsang and Woods for Liège – Bastogne – Liège

IPT is bringing its most experienced team to date for Liège – Bastogne – Liège, with Jakob Fuglsang and Mike Woods leading the charge in the third Monument of the season. Fuglsang, the 2019 winner, knows what it takes to come out on top in this challenging race: “I have a lot of hope for the race on Sunday,” he said. Meanwhile, Woods, who finished sixth at La Flèche Wallonne, is hoping to improve on his previous performances in Liège: “I’m really excited to be doing it and hopefully I can improve on my best position there.”

Former Liège – Bastogne – Liège winner Eric Van Lancker, who won the race in 1990, is confident in the team’s potential: “We are going into Liège – Bastogne – Liège with a lot of confidence and as a team, we are motivated to finish the Classics with our best result. I’d say we are not lining up with a top favorite but in Jakob Fuglsang and Mike Woods, we have two strong contenders.”

With a challenging course ahead, IPT believes that the combination of Fuglsang and Woods gives them multiple cards to play and a strong chance at achieving a good result. The race is set to take place on April 24th.
