Josh Tarling Wins Chrono Des Nations in Stellar Fashion

Josh Tarling concluded his season on a high note by dominating the time trial discipline and claiming victory at the prestigious Chrono Des Nations. The young cyclist had previously triumphed in the Junior TT event in Vendee, and he replicated his success this year, showcasing his exceptional talent once again. Tarling’s impressive performance not only solidified his status as a neo-pro but also allowed him to don the prestigious European champion’s skinsuit as he crossed the finish line in first place.

Covering a challenging 45.4-kilometer course, Tarling displayed his prowess by consistently outperforming his rivals at all three checkpoints. He ultimately secured a well-deserved victory, finishing with a commanding lead of 13.5 seconds over world champion Remco Evenepoel of Soudal – Quick-Step. Stefan Bisseger of EF Education-EasyPost completed the podium, trailing Tarling by 1 minute and 10 seconds.

Throughout the race, Tarling steadily widened the gap between himself and Evenepoel. Starting with a 10-second advantage, he managed to stretch it to 17 seconds at the second intermediate, eventually maintaining his lead until he crossed the finish line in Les Herbiers.

Tarling’s triumph at the Chrono Des Nations showcases not only his exceptional time trial skills but also his consistency and determination throughout the racing season. As he brings his neo-pro campaign to an end, Tarling can reflect on a remarkable year and look forward to future successes in his cycling career.
