The eight-stage Tour of Britain, covering both Scotland and England, kicks off in Aberdeen with a challenging mountaintop finish at Glenshee Ski Centre. Dempster emphasizes the importance of racing attentively in every stage.
The team’s leaders for the race are Dylan Teuns and Michael Woods, with the latter aiming for an improved result in the general classification after finishing fifth last year. Dowsett speaks about his excitement for this last race, saying, “Since I decided that I will retire, I have become more excited about the future. It will be fantastic to do this race one last time.”
The Israel – Premier Tech team also includes Swiss cyclist Reto Hollenstein, track champion Corbin Strong, and local rider Mason Hollyman.
