INEOS Grenadiers, formerly known as Team Sky, has announced the extension of its partnership with Science in Sport (SiS), the world leader in endurance nutrition. The collaboration, which began in 2015, has resulted in eight Grand Tour victories, including four Tour de France titles. SiS has embedded two nutritionists within the team and provided expertise from its in-house Science team to meet the performance challenges of the athletes. As part of the renewed agreement, SiS will also be conducting a three-year PhD study at Liverpool John Moores University focused on the specific performance challenges of INEOS Grenadiers, including the needs of endurance cyclists. SiS will continue to develop bespoke products to address the varying requirements of individual riders.
