“The girls took their responsibilities during the stage by taking the breakaways or riding behind them. In the final, they were present with Lotte Claes, Valentina Cavallar and Titia Ryo. Titia came 10th after a sprint in a small group. There may have been room for improvement by running a little more true to form, but that’s just one of the details to be worked out. On the positive side, our climbers are present, which bodes well for tomorrow’s stage to the summit of the Aubisque”.
