Grand Prix d’Isbergues: Marc Sarreau Takes Second Place in Sprints
“We rode all day to control the race and this podium is a fine place which rewards the hard work that didn’t pay off the week before in Fourmies.
On the final circuit, things rubbed up quite a bit and the whole team did a great job to place me ideally. I found myself in Arnaud Démare’s path for a very fast sprint, but I couldn’t get past him.
I’ve still got Paris-Chauny, Paris-Bourges and the Tour de Vendée to finish the season,” said Marc Sarreau.
This new podium is the sixth of the season for Marc Sarreau, including four victories (Cholet- Pays de Loire and three stages of the Tour Poitou Charentes).
