Caleb Ewan Aims for Stage Win at the Baloise Belgium Tour
Lotto Dstny rider Caleb Ewan is setting his sights on a stage win at the upcoming Baloise Belgium Tour. The Australian sprinter has been in good form, recently securing a second-place finish at the Elfstedenronde.
Having already claimed two stage victories in the Belgium Tour last year, Ewan is eager to add another win to his record. He will be supported by a strong seven-rider squad including Jasper De Buyst, Jarrad Drizners, Frederik Frison, Sébastien Grignard, Jacopo Guarnieri, and Florian Vermeersch.
Ewan expressed his goal of winning and the importance of gaining confidence ahead of the Tour de France, stating, “A stage win is the goal and definitely as a sprinter, victories really give you a confidence boost. But also if I don’t get a win, this doesn’t have to mean anything. I feel really good and a victory would only give me a confirmation of that form.”
