Cylo-cross Champion Clément Venturini Secures Sixth French Championship Title
“Every year I start the French Championship as if I hadn’t won it,” says Venturini. “Nothing is written in advance in sports. Every victory in the French Championship is important to me, and in all honesty, this one brings me a lot of emotions, first and foremost for my new ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team.”
Venturini’s performance was not without challenges as he faced a mechanical problem during the race, but he fought back and ultimately triumphed. “I didn’t want to give up,” he reflects on the intense competition.
The victory holds a special significance for Venturini on a personal level as well as for his team. “I place this title very high. On an emotional level, it means a lot,” he says. With an eye on international events, Venturini is now gearing up for the World Championship in Tabor, Czech Republic, expressing his aspiration for a medal as the ultimate achievement in his cyclo-cross career.
