In a challenging Strade Bianche race, Christophe Laporte from Team Visma | Lease a Bike clinched the tenth spot after battling tough conditions and strong competitors. Laporte, along with Valter, showcased their resilience as they pursued the podium places amidst the grueling race in Siena.
“We were simply not good enough today,” admitted team manager Grischa Niermann, reflecting on Laporte’s performance. “The conditions certainly didn’t make it any easier, but Strade Bianche is tough every year. We also knew that beforehand.”
Despite the challenging circumstances, Laporte’s commendable effort secured his position among the top ten cyclists, navigating through the treacherous course with determination.
