Ben Serotta and Davis Phinney Foundation Join Forces for Exclusive Fundraiser
Ben Serotta, founder of Serotta Cycling, and the Davis Phinney Foundation are collaborating on a special fundraiser to support people with Parkinson’s disease. The partnership, which is built on a longstanding friendship between Serotta and Olympic cyclist Davis Phinney, aims to raise funds and awareness for the foundation’s mission.
The highlight of the fundraiser is the Serotta Cycling Sweeps, where one lucky winner will receive a custom-crafted Serotta SE T9 (Signature Edition, Titanium) bicycle worth $12,500. This exclusive bicycle can be customized for riding on paved roads, gravel, or a combination of both.
To enter the Sweeps, participants can make a $20 or larger contribution to the Davis Phinney Foundation through their website or send a postcard with their name, address, and phone number to Team DPF. There is no limit to the number of entries, and no purchase is necessary.
In addition to the grand prize, there will also be a second prize drawing for a gift pack donated by Primal Wear, a popular cycling apparel brand.
The drawing for the Serotta Cycling Sweeps will take place on October 1 at the Davis Phinney Foundation headquarters. The winner will be notified via phone and email, and they will work with Ben Serotta and his team to customize and ship their new bicycle.
The Davis Phinney Foundation, established in 2004 by Davis Phinney himself, aims to improve the quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s disease.
