# Bahrain Victorious Welcomes Pau Miquel: A Promising Addition for 2026-2027 Seasons

Team Bahrain Victorious has officially signed Spanish cyclist Pau Miquel to a two-year contract that will see him compete with the team during the 2026 and 2027 seasons. At just 25 years old, Miquel has made a mark since beginning his professional career in 2022 with Equipo Kern Pharma, having joined the team as a trainee in August 2021.

Over his three and a half years in the sport, Miquel has demonstrated impressive finishing speed and versatility, excelling in both classics and Grand Tour-style climbs. His standout performance came during the 2024 season, where he secured a commendable 3rd place in a sprint on Stage 7 of La Vuelta a España, trailing behind elite competitors Wout van Aert and Mathias Vacek. He also showcased his sprinting prowess with two additional 4th place finishes in the same race, and recorded notable results at events like the Prueba Villafranca–Ordiziako Klasika and Itzulia Basque Country.

Reflecting on his move, Miquel expressed his excitement about joining Bahrain Victorious: “Signing with Team Bahrain Victorious is a dream come true. Since I started cycling, it has been a goal of mine to race for one of the best teams in the world. I truly believe this is the ideal place to grow and take the next step in my career. I cannot wait to start working with the team and achieve great things together.”

Milan Eržen, Managing Director of Team Bahrain Victorious, praised Miquel’s potential, stating, “Pau has already shown great potential, and we believe he will continue to develop into a strong rider at the WorldTour level. His versatility makes him a valuable addition to our roster, and we’re excited to see the impact he can bring across different types of races.”

As Miquel prepares to don the Bahrain Victorious jersey, both fans and team members eagerly anticipate the contributions this dynamic young rider will make in the upcoming seasons.
