Bahrain Victorious Gears Up for Tirreno-Adriatico’s “Race of the Two Seas”
Bahrain Victorious is preparing for a thrilling week of racing as they dive into the prestigious Tirreno-Adriatico, known as the “Race of the Two Seas,” from March 4th to March 10th. The team is set to take on diverse Italian landscapes and challenging stages to showcase their prowess in the WorldTour stage races.
The race kicks off with a traditional time trial in Lido di Camaiore, perfectly suited for specialists, laying the groundwork for an intense battle for the Trident trophy. Throughout the week, Bahrain Victorious will face stages tailored for sprinters and climbers, including a flat sprint stage from Camaiore to Follonica and a mountainous challenge from Volterra to Gualdo Tadino. With prominent riders like time trial specialist Antonio Tiberi, road captain Damiano Caruso, and climbing star Wout Poels leading the team, Bahrain Victorious aims to make a substantial impact on the GC standings.
The excitement continues with routes featuring demanding climbs, such as the wavy course around Siena and a mountainous spectacle in Torricella Sicura-Valle Castellana.
