Soudal Quick-Step’s Luke Lamperti appeared to be in an excellent position near the front of the peloton during the 150km Trofeo Palma race, with Yves Lampaert pushing a huge tempo. The team had ridden a perfect race until the final kilometer, and the unfortunate occurrence prevented Lamperti from fighting for victory, which ultimately went to Gerben Thijssen of Intermarche-Wanty.
