Speaking about the event, Gérard mentioned, “Florian Sénéchal was in the breakaway today on this final stage of the Volta Ao Algarve. It’s been an intense week, both in terms of pace and commitment, because even if this event doesn’t have the label, it’s at the level of a UCI WorldTour race. Martin Tjøtta gave himself the means to finish strongly.
