Arnaud De Lie Secures 8th Victory of the Season at Schaal Sels
Arnaud De Lie of ProTeam Lotto Soudal emerged victorious in a bunch sprint finish at the Schaal Sels race. The 20-year-old sprinter credited his teammates for their outstanding support throughout the race, stating, “In the end, I only had to sprint for the final 150 meters.”

The Lotto Soudal team had a clear objective in mind, which was to secure a win for Arnaud De Lie. They took charge of the race early on, keeping the lead of a three-rider breakaway in check and eventually reeling them in.
De Lie expressed his gratitude towards his teammates, saying, “The team has worked for me the whole day. A mass sprint or a sprint with a smaller group: to us it did not really matter, as long as I got the chance to sprint for the win.”
This victory marks the 8th triumph of the season for De Lie, who expressed his surprise at how successful the season has been for him and the team. Looking ahead, he has high hopes for future races, stating, “For me, the season does not need to end any time soon.”
