Arkéa-Samsic team shows strong performance at Vuelta Ciclista a España
Cristián Rodriguez of the Arkéa-Samsic team achieved his best general classification in six Grand Tour participations at the Vuelta Ciclista a España, finishing 13th in Madrid. The team’s collective performance was evident as they secured 10th place in the team classification. The race this year was of a sporting level comparable to that of the Tour de France.
The Arkéa-Samsic team finished the race with all seven riders, despite some of them being affected by minor illnesses that often occur during a three-week race. Mathis Le Berre emerged as the revelation of the event, performing well in the high-mountain stages and going on the offensive in the third week.
Kévin Vauquelin faced difficulties throughout the race, but he was able to learn from his experiences and identify areas that he needs to work on for future events.
