Amaury Capiot’s Strong Performance Secures 4th Place in the Sprint at Tirreno-Adriatico
In a field of competitive sprinters at Tirreno-Adriatico, Amaury Capiot demonstrated his prowess by clinching 4th place in a thrilling race. Reflecting on his performance, Capiot shared, “When you see the line-up of sprinters here at Tirreno-Adriatico to sign a top 4 is a good performance. I think I made the most of the last bend at 300 meters, making an effort there, which put me in a good position. I turned into Tim Merlier’s wheel, and at that point I knew it was going to be full throttle all the way to the line. I probably paid a bit for my acceleration in the last corner, but I couldn’t have fought with Philipsen and Merlier anyway. Considering the field, 4th is a good performance. This morning, if someone had told me that, I would have signed up.”
Capiot’s strategic moves and determination paid off, earning him a respectable placement in the race amidst tough competition.
