The dynamic performance of Paul Magnier and Luke Lamperti at the race in Oman has once again proven their exceptional talent and teamwork. The Soudal Quick-Step duo displayed a dominant sprint in the shortest stage in the race’s history, leading to a 1-2 podium finish.
The race, originally planned to head to Eastern Mountain, was altered due to weather conditions, resulting in a thrilling sprint finish in the Naseem Garden to Al Bustan stage. Despite the challenging course, Magnier and Lamperti’s powerful finish left their rivals behind.
Addressing their victory, Paul Magnier expressed his excitement, stating, “It’s unbelievable to take another win. The plan was to lead out Luke, but it turned out differently. We won’t stop here, as we are still motivated to go for some nice results before the end of the race.”
Additionally, Luke Lamperti’s outstanding performance not only secured the team’s victory but also earned him the leader’s jersey in the general classification, points, and youth standings.
