Sepp Kuss: Jonas Vingegaard “Unstoppable”
In the latest race, Jonas Vingegaard’s remarkable performance left his fellow cyclist Sepp Kuss in awe. Kuss revealed that Vingegaard’s attack on the final part of the climb was unexpected but proved to be the perfect moment to make a move. Kuss stated, “Just before the final part of the climb, Jonas asked on the radio if he could attack and it was a really good moment to go. Everybody was looking at each other behind and he also rode a super fast climb, so he was unstoppable.”
Despite acknowledging the difficulty of the finish for himself, Kuss expressed satisfaction with his own performance, stating, “I felt pretty good. I knew this kind of finish would be hard for me, it’s really explosive. I’m happy with how I rode, hanging on there.”
Looking ahead, Kuss mentioned that the next race would present a different challenge, saying, “Tomorrow is a totally different story. The legs are still good and I’m looking forward to it.”
Overall, Vingegaard’s exceptional performance and the team’s success made it another great day in the world of cycling.
