# ProTeam Gears Up for La Primavera: Jenno Berckmoes’ Journey

As the weekend approaches, ProTeam is set to take on the prestigious Milano-Sanremo, affectionately known as La Primavera. The squad, consisting of Huub Artz, Jenno Berckmoes, Lorenzo Rota, Jonas Rutsch, Liam Slock, Luca Van Boven, and Georg Zimmermann, is ready to tackle the challenging terrains and unexpected twists that a long day in the saddle might bring. Their strategy for success includes remaining vigilant, supporting one another, and seizing opportunities as they arise, especially during critical segments like the Cipressa and Poggio.

For Jenno Berckmoes, this iconic race has been a longstanding ambition. Following a solid performance at Tirreno-Adriatico, where he noticed a significant improvement in his form, Jenno is heading into this weekend’s race with heightened confidence. He shared, “Tirreno-Adriatico has really done me well last week. I started the week off a bit ill but I luckily recovered quickly. I could really feel that my form was growing throughout the whole week of hard racing.”

In preparation for La Primavera, Berckmoes spent the past week in Italy with teammate Georg Zimmermann, focusing on final recon and fine-tuning his readiness for the race. He stated, “I spent past week together with Georg here in Italy to do some final recons and my form has really improved.”

Despite his optimism, Berckmoes remains grounded about the formidable competition he will face. “I think that I am coming really close to my best shape, so of course I hope for a good result on Saturday. It’s a tough race and seen the line-up of other teams, it definitely won’t be easy. I just hope I can finish close this weekend with a great result,” he concluded.

With the team’s collective experience and Berckmoes’ steadily climbing form, ProTeam is eagerly anticipating the challenges that La Primavera will present.
