# Arnaud De Lie Extends Contract with Lotto Dstny Through 2026
Lotto Dstny has announced the contract extension of their 21-year-old rising star, Arnaud De Lie, ensuring he will remain with the team until at least the end of 2026. Having originally signed for the upcoming season, De Lie’s new two-season agreement is a testament to his remarkable potential and accomplishments since turning professional last year.
The “Bull of Lescheret” made an impressive entrance into professional cycling, ending his inaugural season with an impressive nine victories. Despite facing challenges, including a significant crash in mid-May, De Lie has already secured seven wins this season and achieved notable placements in prestigious races such as Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, Dwars door Vlaanderen, and the Brabantse Pijl.
Lotto Dstny’s CEO, Stéphane Heulot, expressed his satisfaction with the contract extension, stating, “With the eyes on the future, Arnaud De Lie’s contract extension was a priority. We are therefore very pleased that one of Belgium’s greatest cycling talents will stay on board at Lotto Dstny. From the moment Arnaud entered the Development Team, he experienced a tremendous development and quickly became one of our leaders due to his strong performances.” He further emphasized the team’s belief in De Lie’s potential for growth and the opportunity for both the rider and the team to pursue future ambitions together.
De Lie shared his thoughts on his decision to extend with Lotto Dstny, saying, “Extending at Lotto Dstny was a logical choice for me. The team showed a lot of confidence in me from the beginning, and it felt very good right away. In addition, the project the management has proposed to me for the coming years is promising.”
Looking ahead, De Lie acknowledged the stability his contract extension provides: “The fact that I will be racing with Lotto Dstny until 2026 gives me some peace of mind and also the time to improve step by step.” He expressed his aspirations for the future, stating, “The ambition is therefore to become competitive at the highest level in the future and win a big Classic.”
As the season progresses, De Lie has significant upcoming events, including the Renewi Tour and races in Quebec and Montreal. “A WorldTour win in one of upcoming races would be fantastic. I am in very good form and it would be a very nice end to the season,” he remarked.
With his contract extended, Arnaud De Lie is set to solidify his place as a formidable contender in the cycling world, as Lotto Dstny looks forward to supporting his journey to greatness.
