# Team Visma | Lease a Bike Prepares for Climactic Finale in Tour of Guangxi
In the fourth stage of the Tour of Guangxi, Team Visma | Lease a Bike faced a challenging course that included four categorized climbs. A strong early breakaway consisting of six riders managed to establish a five-minute lead before being reeled back in, leading to an exciting finish.
Niklas Behrens, a promising 21-year-old German cyclist, seized his opportunity to attack after the breakaway was caught. He rode solo in front of the peloton for several kilometers but ultimately could not prevent a bunch sprint. Paul Magnier of Soudal Quick-Step claimed victory, marking his fourth win of the week.
Team sports director Jesper Mørkøv expressed satisfaction with Behrens’s performance, stating, “It’s nice that Niklas is showing himself in this way.” He analyzed the day’s events, saying, “We can look back on a good day. After the first climb, a strong leading group broke away and took a comfortable lead. The sprint teams had to dig really deep to catch up with the leaders. Once they had done so, we wanted to go for it with Niklas. It was a strong attempt, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to prevent the bunch sprint.”
Looking ahead to the next stage, Mørkøv noted that “tomorrow will be the decisive day for the general classification. Although the first part of the stage is flat, the battle for the stage victory will be fought on the final climb. It would be great if we could make a bid for a good result with Cian.”
As the team prepares for the final weekend of the race, the climbers have an opportunity to shine, with hopes pinned on potential stage results that could shift the overall standings.
