Spuerkeess becomes Official Bank of the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg and commits to a long-term partnership

# Spuerkeess Takes the Helm as Official Bank of Škoda Tour de Luxembourg, Paving the Way for Youth Engagement

The Škoda Tour de Luxembourg has officially entered a strategic partnership with Spuerkeess, which will now serve as the Official Bank of the event. This collaboration not only encompasses the upcoming 2025 edition (scheduled for September 17–21) but also indicates a long-term vision focused on supporting cycling and enhancing opportunities for the youth in Luxembourg.

## Introducing the Spuerkeess Bonus Sprint

As a key element of this partnership, Spuerkeess will sponsor the **Spuerkeess Bonus Sprint**, an intermediate sprint positioned within the last 60 kilometers of each road stage, excluding the time trial. This exciting addition allows riders to earn bonus seconds for the general classification and includes a cash prize, providing Spuerkeess with prominent visibility amidst the thrilling action of the race.

## Commitment to Young People

In addition, Spuerkeess will contribute to various initiatives aimed at the youth, such as the establishment of dedicated children’s grandstands at select stages in Mamer, Niederanven, and Luxembourg City. This initiative marks the beginning of broader educational and participatory projects set to unfold in future editions.

Andy Schleck, President of TDL Organisation, the race’s organizers, remarked, “Welcoming a key player like Spuerkeess is a real opportunity for the Škoda Tour. This partnership goes far beyond sport — it will allow us to create long-term value for the public, for young people, and for Luxembourgish society as a whole.”

Françoise Thoma, CEO of Spuerkeess, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “This partnership reflects our constant commitment to the community. Supporting the Tour de Luxembourg is about much more than being present at a major event — it’s about encouraging passion, perseverance, and participation at every level. We believe in the importance of creating opportunities for young people and sharing moments that bring people together. We are proud to be part of this journey for the years to come.”

This collaboration not only strengthens the Škoda Tour de Luxembourg but also sets a precedent for future partnerships that prioritize community engagement and youth involvement in sports.
