ProTeam Jenno Berckmoes with good legs in Slovakia

After the team time trial that opened the Tour of Slovakia yesterday—Lotto Dstny finished a fine fourth—the riders faced a tough hilly stage today. With a finish where the last kilometer averaged a 6.7 percent incline, Jenno Berckmoes and Milan Menten were pushed forward for the win. “We were perfectly set up by Logan (Currie) and Arjen (Livyns),” Berckmoes explains. “Milan initially stayed on my wheel but unfortunately got boxed in, which prevented him from sprinting full out.”
