Amaury Capiot: “Thanks to the entire ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team”.
“This 3rd stage of the 4 Jours de Dunkerque went by quickly. We were waiting for the curbs to form, and we, the ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team, were well placed at the front of the pack. But there wasn’t enough wind to form one. Halfway through Thursday’s stage, it rained hard. It was even a little cold. But for the last forty kilometers, fortunately, the weather was more clement, and on the final stretch the road surface was dry. The whole ARKEA-B&B HOTELS team did a great job for me today. I’d like to thank all my team-mates. In the final, Arnaud Démare, Kévin Ledanois and Mathis Le Berre gave 200% for me. I’m going for third place in Bouchain and the four-second bonus that goes with that position at the finish. Tonight, I’m third in the provisional overall classification of the 4 Jours de Dunkerque, and that’s a good thing, as it puts the car in a good position for Friday’s cobbled stage. If we ever need it, we’ll have the car at our side right away. The aim is to keep improving in the overall standings of the 4 Jours de Dunkerque. It’s not going to be easy, as the competition here is stiff, but we’re going to do everything we can collectively to get there.
