New Routes and Anticipation: Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali 2024
The Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali 2024 promises to be an exciting event, kicking off in Pesaro and concluding in Forlì over the course of five days in March. The race, organized by the Gruppo Sportivo Emilia, will see a mix of road stages and team time trials, providing “great entertainment” for cycling enthusiasts.
The upcoming edition features some exciting changes, making it a significant event for the Marche region. Pesaro will play host to the start and finish of the road stage on the opening day, followed by a team time trial in the afternoon. With the race moving to Emilia Romagna on subsequent days, the stages will unfold in locations such as Riccione, Sogliano sul Rubicone, and Brisighella, creating an engaging and diverse experience for participants and spectators alike.
The final stage will culminate in Forlì, where the winner of the 2024 edition will be crowned at the Velodromo Servadei. With the technical staff of Gruppo Sportivo Emilia finalizing the tracks, the stage race has already attracted the participation of 10 World Teams, 8 professional teams, and Continental formations. Last year’s champion, Swiss Mauro Schmid, will also be in the mix, adding to the anticipation and excitement surrounding the event.
