Stellar Lineup Announced for Giro dell’Emilia-Granarolo
The Giro dell’Emilia-Granarolo is set to showcase some of the biggest names in professional cycling in its upcoming races on September 30th. The event, which features both men’s and women’s races, will start in Carpi and culminate with the iconic San Luca climb.
Among the star-studded lineup for the Giro dell’Emilia Granarolo are previous winners, including Eric Mas, Primoz Roglic, Alexander Vlasov, and Alessandro De Marchi. Other notable riders such as Tadej Pogacar, Adam and Simon Yates, Thibaut Pinot, and Giulio Ciccone will also compete in the race.
The Giro dell’Emilia BPER Banca Internazionale Donne Elite will also feature top female athletes. For the first time, the race will include two ascents to the Colle di San Luca, attracting prominent riders from around the world.
Fans can catch all the action of the Giro dell’Emilia-Granarolo on Rai 2, with live coverage broadcasted for over two hours. The race will also be available on Rai Italia and Eurosport.
The race route for the Giro dell’Emilia Granarolo will start from Carpi and traverse the Modenese countryside, with several challenging climbs, including the climb of Gavignano/Monte Nonascoso. The race will conclude with multiple laps around the iconic San Luca climb in Bologna.
Similarly, the Giro dell’Emilia BPER Banca Women Elite will start from Carpi and feature a challenging route that includes the famous San Luca climb.
