Tudor is the New official timekeeper of Il Lombardia
Tudor, the award-winning Swiss watch brand, has been announced as the official timekeeper for Il Lombardia and all races organized by RCS Sport. The agreement includes prestigious races such as the Giro d’Italia, UAE Tour, Strade Bianche, Tirreno-Adriatico, and Milano-Sanremo.
The partnership will see Tudor take on a prominent role in five time trials this season. The first one will be the team time trial on the second stage of the UAE Tour on February 21. Other notable time trials include the individual time trial in Lido di Camaiore during Tirreno-Adriatico and three time trials during the Giro d’Italia in May.
Tudor’s commitment to professional cycling goes beyond timekeeping. The brand has launched the TUDOR Pro Cycling Team, in collaboration with Swiss cycling legend Fabian Cancellara, which competes in top-tier races across the globe. In addition, Tudor has established a Development Team to nurture the next generation of cycling champions.
Tudor’s history dates back to 1926 when it was registered as a brand by Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex. Known for their refined aesthetics, reliability, and value, Tudor watches have been the choice of bold adventurers on land, underwater, and on ice throughout history. The TUDOR collection includes popular models such as Pelagos, Black Bay, 1926, and Royal.
RCS Sport, the sports and media company managing Il Lombardia and other major cycling races, is delighted to partner with Tudor. With their expertise and commitment, RCS Sport aims to enhance and promote these important sporting events globally.
This partnership between Tudor and RCS Sport reinforces the brand’s involvement in the world of professional cycling and further solidifies their reputation as a trusted timekeeping partner in the sport.
