However, as the race approached its final stage, the intensity picked up. Thanks to the excellent positioning work by Luke Plapp, the Grenadiers managed to avoid a major crash with just five kilometers remaining.

With the flamme rouge marking the final kilometer, Magnus Sheffield took charge and set a blistering pace. The grand finale unleashed by Connor Swift further propelled Viviani towards the finish line, delivering him at an impressive 150 meters to go.
