With a Stage 9 victory by Lennard Kämna and strong performances by Aleks Vlasov and Cian Uijtdebroeks, BORA – hansgrohe is heading into the second rest day of the Vuelta a España in a positive position. Kämna’s win was certainly a highlight for the team, and having two riders in the top-10 of the general classification puts them in a good position for the final week of racing. Cian Uijtdebroeks may not have been satisfied with his time trial result, but his superb performance on the Tourmalet pushed him into the top-10 of the general classification, a result for which the team is very pleased.
