Pavel Sivakov Takes Second Place at Coppa Sabatini

Pavel Sivakov put on another impressive performance, securing a second-place finish in the Coppa Sabatini race. The Ineos Grenadiers team had a plan to be aggressive right from the start, and both Ethan Hayter and Brandon Rivera made their moves at different points during the race.

As the TV coverage began, the pace picked up, and Sivakov found himself in a leading group of ten riders. Instead of settling into the group, the Frenchman launched a powerful attack on the final climb of the ‘Muro di Peccioli,’ distancing all but one of his breakaway companions, Marc Hirschi from UAE Team Emirates.

Sivakov and Hirschi continued to extend their lead over the last 30 kilometers of the race. The outcome would ultimately be determined on the final climb of the day. Despite setting an intense pace, Sivakov was unable to shake off Hirschi, who narrowly beat him in a sprint to the finish line.
