Tour du Limousin (Stage 2): Clément Venturini Targets Victory
In the second stage of Tour du Limousin, French cyclist Clément Venturini secured a third-place finish. Despite narrowly missing the win, Venturini expressed his determination, stating, “I’ve been very studious in July and it’s all about getting results. It’s been a long time since I’ve lifted my arms, and I’m desperate to win tomorrow.”
Venturini commended his team’s maneuvering tactics and emphasized the importance of precise placement during the race. Reflecting on his performance, Venturini noted, “I really battled right to the end, without letting up, and if it hadn’t been for a rider who slowed me down a bit, there might have been a way to do better.”
Currently, Venturini holds the eighth position in the overall standings. Benoit Cosnefroy, who faced a crash in the first stage, managed to gain a bonus second in today’s stage, placing him eleventh overall.
