Giacomo Nizzolo Triumphs in Dramatic Fashion at Tro-Bro Léon

Giacomo Nizzolo showcased his resilience and determination as he sprinted to an impressive victory at Tro-Bro Léon, securing the first win of the season for Israel – Premier Tech. Despite facing adversity in the form of a puncture, Nizzolo overcame the challenges to claim the top spot on the podium.

Nizzolo expressed his delight after the race, stating, “Today was a very, very special race… I really had to suffer today to get the victory, but I’m super happy because when it comes after such an effort it feels even better! Thanks to the team for all their hard work, and let’s enjoy this first victory of the season!”

The team’s Sport Director, Rene Mandri, also praised Nizzolo’s performance, saying, “It was a great win by Giacomo, the team did a brilliant job to get in the right position on all the sectors… It was a really great job by Giacomo and the whole team.”

Reflecting on the significance of this win for Israel-Premier Tech, Mandri expressed hope that it would serve as inspiration for the riders participating in the Giro d’Italia.
