Woods and Teuns are satisfied with their shape in the early days of the Tour. Woods expressed his happiness with the start of the race and hopes to secure a stage win, saying, “The goal is to get a stage win here so I hope we can continue this momentum.” Teuns remarked on the challenging start to the Tour, stating, “I expected a bigger group yesterday to be contesting the stage yesterday so it really shows how hard the first two stages were. Stage three provided an opportunity for the sprinters, and Tour de France debutant Corbin Strong had a chance to test his legs in the bunch sprint. Although he finished in 16th place, Strong viewed it as a good experience and hopes for better results in the upcoming stages. “It was a pretty chaotic finale,” he commented.
