The Kazakh champion, Alexey Lutsenko, is gearing up for an exciting season of cycling, with his sights set on the Cobblestone Classics and the Tour de France. Lutsenko will kick off his season by participating in the Tour de la Provence in France before heading to the UAE Tour. He will then focus on the Belgian Cobbled Classics, E3, Gent-Wevelgem, and the Tour of Flanders, aiming to make his mark in these demanding one-day races.
Lutsenko’s schedule also includes the Amstel Gold Race and the iconic Liège-Bastogne-Liège one-day race. However, the highlight of his season will undoubtedly be the Tour de France, followed by his representation of Kazakhstan in the Olympic Games.
“I will start the season with Tour de la Provence and the UAE Tour… But, if the season returns back to one we all are used to, then my focus is the Classics, the Tour de France, and the Olympic Games.”
Lutsenko is determined to be in top form from the start of the season, as the unpredictable nature of the previous year’s events has taught him not to wait for the perfect moment. He plans to seize every race as an opportunity to achieve the best results possible. However, if the season returns to a more normal state, his primary focus will be on the Classics, the Tour de France, and the Olympic Games.
Followers of Lutsenko can expect an exhilarating season as he takes on some of cycling’s toughest challenges and aims to make his mark on the international stage.
